Plates. I’ve noticed that this week my life is revolving around plates. Plate #1: my magnified cooking addiction. Plate #2: my life plate. Right now both are extremely positive (& full).
Plate #1 – In the Kitchen
- As you may remember I have started doing the TRIM fitness program. There are multiple things I love about this program! (Actually I am going to give you some more details about that later on in the week…stay tuned). But one of my favorite parts of this program is A Healthy Passion! This is an online tool that can plan meals for you based on whether you track macros, carbs or even calories! It’s also just pretty amazing if you’re looking for delicious meals, you don’t have to be counting anything! Let’s face it, we are all running around like chickens with our heads cut off & time is of the essence. This tool will make a shopping list for you & send it straight to Instacart to be delivered AT YOUR DOOR! Let’s say you have a busy week & you can’t possibly cook. That’s ok, they will cook them for you!! But my favorite part is that each meal is extremely delicious & they are so fun to cook. I’ve branched out of my comfort zone & made Lemony Lentil Soup, Thai Eggplant with Basil & Bell Pepper & Cajun Chicken & Rice. Again, you don’t have to be “dieting” to use this tool & there’s a trial offer. I think it’s something you should check out.
- It’s not necessarily a plate, but it does relate. (See what I did there?) My new “go to” morning drink starts with French Roast Trader Joe’s coffee. Then I add Calafia Farms Toasted Coconut Almond Milk Blend & a dash of cinnamon. And then I repeat about 7 times.
Plate #2 – In Life
- Life, it’s busy. M keeps telling me that I have a full plate right now & I feel the same way. But I have this flutter in my stomach of excitement & I can’t sleep. When I’m up in the wee hours, I’ve been reading Well + Good, which always has interesting articles that get me even more inspired.
- Even though working toward a goal or goals can be a full time job, it’s important to take time to just hit pause. When I need to unwind, I will spray a bit of Barr-Co Room Spray into the air. This is the most calming scent I have found & I actually bought the perfume as well. The best part, it’s made in St. Louis!
I don’t want your Monday Drive to be too serious, let’s have some fun! If you’re on Instagram, you need to follow @ktzhu. She does this quirky artwork that is extremely relatable & will bring a smile to your face.
Don’t have Instagram? That’s ok, I have some fun for you too. How can these animal photos not make you smile?
Have a great week friends!
